The sole sponsor of CTCHIP is the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation, Inc. of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of the State of Connecticut, recognized as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service. Since its inception in January 2003 Connecticut Freemasons have raised and contributed the over $220,000 necessary to provide this comprehensive Child ID service for over 30,000 Connecticut families at "NO COST" to parents. CTCHIP - Connecticut Child Identification Program is a recorded "Service Mark" of the Connecticut Freemasons Foundation, Inc. (CTFMF), registered with the Secretary of the State of Connecticut. We have received an "Official Statement" of recognition from Governor M. Jody Rell. All CTCHIP Events are requested through and coordinated by the Connecticut Freemasons (Request Event online). We do conduct Events anywhere across our State when both the equipment and volunteers can be committed, and funds raised to purchase all the necessary materials consumed to generate the ID packages (approximately $5 per ID package needs to be raised). We are actively seeking donations, contributions and contributing partners to assit us to bring this important community service to every family in Connecticut at "NO COST to PARENTS".
